Neon Drip
Metaball blobs dripping upward with surface tension physics and trailing tendrils.
What is Neon Drip?
Neon Drip is a free WebGL web effect in the TappyPrism library. Metaball blobs dripping upward with surface tension physics and trailing tendrils. It is rendered on the GPU by a fragment shader, so it costs almost nothing on the CPU and works well as a full-screen background. It ships as a single self-contained HTML file (neon-drip.html) with zero dependencies — no npm package, no framework, no build step. It exposes 2 live parameters — Drip Speed, Blob Count — adjustable in the browser or at runtime.
Parameters
| Parameter | Key | Range | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Drip Speed | DRIP_SPEED | 0.1 – 1.5 | 0.5 |
| Blob Count | BLOB_COUNT | 0.3 – 2 | 1 |
